Make It In Minutes: Spice Bottle Cork Display

01

I lost the caps to not one, but two empty spice bottles this week. I was bummed, because Ada loves practicing with screw-on caps, and it keeps her engrossed for half an hour at a time. But then I realized that I also had not one, but two very pretty wine corks that I’d been saving for a purpose somewhat grander than most of the cork projects out there. They just fit in the mouth of the bottles.

Hannah Made It and So Can You: Ada’s Diaper Envelope

So I made up my own!

And I have good news for the tutorial-averse out there–this is just about the quickest thing you will ever make. I created the prototype in the span of five minutes before we went on our daily walk. Setting up my lights for taking photos took longer than making the thing itself. It’s basically a tiny pillow sham, only instead of sleeping on it, you stuff it with things your kid will poop on. Sounds like fun, right? Let’s get to it.
