In Compost Champion, you’ll be doing what we worms and other helpers do best: breaking down organic waste products into nutrient-rich compost! To win, use the fork to collect waste tokens and make sets for the most points.
The goal of this project was to create the branding, illustrations, rule book, and packaging for this adorable, kid-friendly game that mixes dexterity and set collection.
It wasn't until the logo was designed that the players became worms in the game. This detail added layers to the composting theme that drove the game in a wriggly direction.
The waste token illustrations were drawn to strike a balance between showing that the items should be composted as they are beyond usable while still giving the game a "cute" look.

Negatives of the illustrations show the players what tokens they still need in order to win the amount of compost points shown at the bottom of the card.
Given the small size of the box (4" x 5.5" x 1.25"), the design was kept simple yet colorful to match the inner components of the game.
The folio style rule book folds into quarters.
